“I hate the fact that Dino hasn’t been able to show his skills in battle. He was tutored by Reborn, gaining his approval. He’s battled Hibari in training numerous times, and Hibari has never been able to defeat him. He’s considered “the strongest whip user”. Even Squalo remarks when first interacting with Dino that going against him wouldn’t be an easy task. Yet every time a chance arises in the manga for him to finally shine, something blocks the chance. Said interaction with Squalo, he escapes before Dino has a chance. Near the end of the Sky Battle, he’s blocked in with the others and unable to fight. In the final battles during the Future arc, Daisy had learned his techniques from Byakuran and took him out. Even in this most recent arc, when he finally gets another chance to fight, he’s taken down after making one move to help Mukuro. And seeing him being called “useless” is frustrating, because unfortunately he’s being portrayed this way, despite the fact that he’s got a lot of skill. I really wish we could just see one battle where he actually gets to fight and prove that he’s anything but useless. Is that too much to ask?”
